About the Business Unit

The Facilities team is responsible for managing and maintaining the physical environment of an organization, ensuring that all facilities operate efficiently and safely. This unit plays a critical role in supporting daily operations, enhancing employee productivity, and fostering a positive workplace culture.

About the Role

The Facilities Manager makes sure the workplace is safe and well-maintained. They handle employee concerns about the facilities, helping to solve any issues that arise. Additionally, they plan and organize company events, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Their goal is to create a comfortable and productive environment for everyone.

Work Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Facilities Management:

- Oversee daily operations of the facility, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.- Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and coordinate repairs and improvements.

Grievance Management:

- Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns related to facilities.- Address grievances promptly and effectively, working with HR to resolve issues and enhance employee satisfaction.

Seating Allocation:

- Manage seating arrangements and space utilization to optimize workflow and collaboration.- Coordinate with departments to accommodate changes in team structure and project needs.

Data Management:

- Maintain accurate records of facilities-related data, including maintenance schedules, inventory, and space utilization.- Analyze data to inform decision-making and improve operational efficiency.

Events Coordination:

- Plan and coordinate company events, meetings, and training sessions, ensuring all logistical needs are met.- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to create successful and engaging events.

HR Coordination:

- Work closely with HR to support onboarding processes, including workspace setup and facilities orientation for new employees.- Assist in developing policies related to facilities management and employee well-being.

Skills, Experience & Expertise

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage grievances effectively.- Proficient in data management and analysis; experience with facilities management software is a plus.- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks. simultaneously.

Eligibility

- Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management and 3-4 years of work experience in hotels- 6-8 years of experience in facilities management or a similar role.
