Ideal Candidate Profile

SKP is increasing its research coverage universe and expanding its research team. It is looking for equity research analysts who are passionate about capital markets in general and equity research in particular. The ideal candidate will have clarity in thought process and communication, strong understanding of financial modelling and valuation techniques and decent writing and presentation skills. He / she should be able to work independently within a team, juggle multiple projects simultaneously in a time-bound manner and work in a quick-paced, multi-faceted environment.


Candidates for the position of Senior Research Analyst should have an experience of servicing and making presentations to Buy Side Fund Managers and Analysts, preferably having existing relationships with them.


Job Description

  • Preparing Initiating Coverage / Result Update Reports, Management Meet Notes, etc.
  • Being updated on companies under coverage through regular follow-up with management, company results, conference calls, analyst meets, industry publications, public documents, trade journals, IR departments, competition, customers, vendors, etc.
  • Assisting the team in generating / initiating new stock ideas and strengthening teams’ thought process through knowledge sharing.
  • Maintaining relationships and servicing client requirements and requests for companies under coverage
