JobDescription:

Weare seeking an experienced Equity Research Analyst with a strongbackground in investment research particularly in the Indianmarket. The ideal candidate will possess at least 5 years ofrelevant experience demonstrating a deep understanding offundamental analysis unit economics and financial modeling. Thisrole requires a proactive approach to research with the ability toidentify potential risks andopportunities.

KeyResponsibilities:

Conductdetailed bottomup fundamental analysis of companies in thedesignatedsectors.

Performcomprehensive research on unit economics and develop financialmodels to assess terminalvalues.

Evaluatepotential optionalities and risks associated with investmentsthrough rigorousanalysis.

Engageproactively by asking insightful questions and reaching out toindustry experts for interviews and deeperinsights.

Prepareresearch notes with a clear outcomeoriented focus to facilitatequicker decisionmaking by the investmentteam.

Maintaina methodical and structured approach to research documentation andnotekeeping.

Utilizevarious research tools and platforms to gather and analyze dataeffectively.

Collaboratewith the investment team to provide strategic recommendations basedon thoroughanalysis.

Qualifications:

MBAfrom a reputable institution with a focus on finance or relatedfields.

Minimumof 5 years of experience in equity research with a focus onconsumer goods retail consumer durablesor

platformbusinesses inIndia.

Provenability to conduct deep research and analysis with a track recordof delivering actionableinsights.

Strongunderstanding of financial modeling and valuation methodologiesparticularly in ascertaining terminalvalue.

Previousexperience in buyside research or credit ratings is aplus.

Excellentanalytical communication and interpersonalskills.

Familiaritywith industry research tools anddatabases.
