Job Description: Jr. Firmware Developer for On2Cook

Position: Jr. Firmware Developer

Location: CH3, Adani Inspire Business Park, Ahmedabad

Experience: 2-4 Years

Job Overview:

Firmware Developer Requirements:

- Develop, test, and maintain firmware for IoT devices, ensuring they meet performance, security, and scalability requirements.- Embedded C, C++ Programming Language- Should have Experience in IoT/Automation domain.- Microcontroller Board bring up and chip level hardware debugging skills.- Experience with I2C, SPI, UART, Nordic and other serial data communication.- An understanding of protocols such as UART, I2C, etc. Experience in working with Nordic SDK will be nice to have.- Experience with Wi-Fi and BLE (nice to have)- Creating Test codes and documenting test cases

1. IoT Protocols and Standards: Stay updated with IoT communication protocols and implement them in firmware development.2. Embedded Systems Development: Design and implement embedded systems software for IoT devices, considering constraints such as limited memory, processing power, and energy consumption.3. Device Integration: Integrate firmware with IoT sensors, actuators, and communication modules, ensuring compatibility and reliability.4. Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing and debugging of firmware to identify and resolve issues, ensuring robust performance.5. Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for firmware development, release notes, including design specifications, code documentation, and user manuals.6. Collaboration: Collaborate with hardware engineers, software developers, Application and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of firmware.7. Compliance and Standards: Ensure firmware development complies with relevant standards and regulations (e.g., BIS, CE).8. Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in IoT and firmware development through self-learning and professional development activities.
