Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Firmware Engineer- team Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in embedded systems development and a strong background in firmware design, implementation, and testing and the person who can lead a team of Firmware Engineers. This individual will play a key role in developing cutting-edge firmware solutions for our products, contributing to all phases of the firmware development lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
● Lead a team of firmware engineers to develop and maintain embedded systems and firmware for IoT devices.
● Design, develop, and test firmware for new and existing IoT products.
● Collaborate with hardware engineers to define system requirements and interfaces.
● Ensure firmware development processes and practices are followed.
● Mentor and provide technical guidance to team members.
● Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources.
● Conduct code reviews and ensure the quality of code and documentation.
● Troubleshoot and resolve firmware-related issues.
● Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, specifically in IoT.
● Contribute to the development of disruptive technology solutions that set the company apart in the market.
Preferred Skills:
● Proficiency in C/C++ programming.
● Strong understanding of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and RTOS.
● Hands-on experience with IoT devices and communication protocols (e.g., MQTT, CoAP, Bluetooth, Zigbee).
● In-depth knowledge of BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy), Wi-Fi, and Mesh networking technologies.
● Experience with hardware interfacing, communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, etc.), and debugging tools.
● Expertise with microcontroller units (MCUs) from Texas Instruments, STMicroelectronics (STM), Espressif, Nordic Semiconductor, etc.
● Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
● Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
● Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects..
Preferred Qualifications:
● Experience with Agile development methodologies.
● Knowledge of wireless communication standards (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Zigbee, etc.).
● Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
● Experience with low-power embedded systems.
● Understanding of security protocols and best practices for IoT devices.

● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field..
