Roles:

A comprehensive role like this one calls for taking up the following responsibilities: 

·       Single point of contact for end users to receive support and maintenance for computers and network systems.

·       Installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all hardware and equipment (including but not limited to PCs, terminals, printers, and scanners) to ensure optimal workstation performance.

·       Diagnose and quickly resolve a wide range of Windows applications and networking problems to help minimize downtime.

·       Troubleshooting network connectivity in a LAN/WAN environment.

·       Works with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems.

·       Desktop computing equipment and software.

·       Ensure desktop computers interconnect seamlessly with diverse systems, including associated validation systems, file servers, email servers, and computers.

·       Configuring and maintaining server and firewall equipment.

·       Maintain computer equipment inventory and track additions/changes.

·       Conferencing systems, application servers, and administrative systems.

·       Works to purchase hardware and software.

·       Assesses functional needs to determine specifications for purchases

·       Orders computer supplies.

·       Creating virtual machines in the MS Hyper-V environment according to requirements and troubleshooting related issues.

·       Resolve issues related to Active Directory, DHCP and DNS

·       Troubleshooting MS O365-related issues ( E.g. MS Outlook, Teams, Share point)

·       Knowledge on VLANs, IP Subnetting, Routing, VPN.


Requirements

As a potential candidate, you are expected to have the following skills (technical): 


•   Diploma or degree in the field of computer science or Networks.

•   Minimum 3 years of work experience in a technical support position.

•   Minimum 3 years experience in using Hyper-V Server 2022.

•   Proficiency in AD (Active Directory) and Windows servers.

•   Industry certifications including A+, N+ and/or MCSE/CCNA is a plus.

•   Analytical and problem-solving skills.

•  Good communication (verbal and written) skills with the ability to communicate with a network team based in the USA.

•   Superior support skills.

                  •   Comfortable to work in 24/7 shift.
