Responsibilities
- Design projects and/or review architectural or engineering plans, specifications and contract documents to ensure compliance with government codes, laws and regulations.
- Good knowledge of BMC norms for all types of projects, i.e. residential & commercial
- Understand Site Constraints & advise subcontractors on the interpretation of plans, recommend changes when necessary.
- Prepare and/or review preliminary designs, working drawings, specifications and cost estimates related to the project.
- Analyze building / properties codes, by-laws, space and site requirements, and other technical documents and reports to determine their effect on architectural designs.
- Prepare / analyze information regarding design, structure specifications, materials, color, equipment, estimated costs and/ or construction time and provide inputs to agencies regarding the same.
- Draw rough and detailed scale plans for properties based in preliminary concepts, sketched, engineering calculations, specification sheets and other data.
- To review project plans, architectural drawings as and when required
- To plan the architectural activities of the project from inception until end so that it meets all the specifications of design and quality.
- Provide advice and develop design documents to initiate and modify architectural, interior design and space planning solutions.
- Gather facts, define designs and space planning problems, conceptualize possible solutions and secure approvals of proposals.
- End-to-end coordination between the Project Manager and consultants.
- Perform design drafting including preliminary drawings, working drawings and full detail drawings for architectural, structural and mechanical works associated with building construction or improvement projects.
- Provide finish selections including colour palettes, carpet and wall finishes, lighting and other various interior selections.
- Develop details, sections and guide team to progress work and follow up closely
- Prepare / coordinate schedules, specifications and design reports

Qualifications & experience
- B.Arch / M.Arch with prior experience of working on high rise residential projects
- 10 to 12 years of experience in Construction (Real Estate) industry.
Knowledge & skills
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Good working Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, MS Office, Sketch up
