We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead and oversee all IT operations for our luxury resort. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing IT infrastructure, systems, and teams in the hospitality industry, ensuring smooth operations in a remote location.

Role & responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and mentor the IT team to ensure efficient operations across the resort.
  • Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems, networks, and hardware.
  • Ensure seamless operation of property management systems (PMS), booking engines, POS systems, and other hospitality-specific software.
  • Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity protocols to protect guest and company data.
  • Collaborate with management to develop IT strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Ensure high availability and reliability of internet connectivity, servers, and network infrastructure in a remote location.
  • Manage IT budgets, procurement of hardware/software, and vendor relationships.
  • Provide technical support and training to staff for all IT-related issues.
  • Monitor emerging technologies in hospitality IT and recommend upgrades for enhanced guest experience.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Masters preferred.
  • Minimum 5–10 years of experience in IT management in the hospitality sector (luxury resorts/hotels preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of hospitality IT systems (PMS, POS, CRM, booking engines, Wi-Fi management).
  • Hands-on experience with networking, servers, cloud services, and cybersecurity.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote location.
