Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Designer based in Gurugram for a upcoming brand MORPHE. The Assistant Designer will support the design team in creating innovative fashion designs, developing patterns, and assisting in the production process. Daily tasks include sketching designs, fabric selection, coordinating with the production team, and organizing design materials. The role also involves participating in fittings, maintaining design archives, and ensuring that design projects are executed on time and meet quality standards.
Qualifications
- Design skills including sketching, pattern making, and fabric selection
- Familiarity with fashion trends, textiles, and garment construction
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Ability to work on-site in Gurugram
- Relevant experience in the fashion industry is advantageous
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field
