The successful applicant will become part of a collaborative and supportive staff community, committed to working in partnership with families and caregivers to provide engaging, individualised learning experiences that nurture the wellbeing, curiosity and growth of every child. We welcome applications from both experienced and early career teachers who bring enthusiasm, creativity, and a genuine love for working with young learners. As a Junior Primary Teacher at St Columba’s Memorial School, you will: Implement engaging learning experiences that support each child’s spiritual, social, emotional, and academic development. Apply curriculum knowledge and evidence-based teaching practices to facilitate meaningful and successful learning for all students. Design differentiated and inclusive learning programs that respond to data and the diverse learning needs of each child. Foster a warm, nurturing, and faith-filled classroom environment that promotes curiosity, independence, and a love of learning. Provide a balanced and developmentally appropriate program, including the creation of Individual Learning Plans where required. Demonstrate a deep understanding of the Australian Curriculum and Crossways, integrating contemporary pedagogies and Catholic values across all learning areas. Communicate effectively and respectfully with students, families, colleagues, and the broader school community to build strong partnerships in support of each learner’s growth.
