Role Purchase Assistant

Reporting Manager Purchase Head

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated fresher to join our Purchase team as a Purchase Assistant. The role involves supporting the purchase and procurement activities, maintaining vendor records, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring smooth material flow for production and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in day-to-day purchase operations and documentation.
  • Maintain and update vendor database, purchase orders, and contracts.
  • Support in sourcing raw materials, consumables, and other supplies as per requirements.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for quotations, order confirmation, and timely delivery.
  • Follow up on pending orders and resolve discrepancies related to quantity, quality, or delivery with the factory.
  • Assist in preparing purchase reports and maintaining records for audit purposes.
  • Work closely with accounts, stores, and production teams to ensure timely procurement.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and purchase procedures.

Desired Skills & Competencies:

  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational ability with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to work in a team and handle multitasking.
  • Eagerness to learn purchase and supply chain processes.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate in Commerce / Science / Management (B.Com / BBA / B.Sc. / Any equivalent).
  • Freshers can apply (01 year of experience in purchase or procurement preferred).
