Position Overview: EveoAI is looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our AI and ML team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in data mining, data cleaning, tokenizing data, and converting raw data into meaningful information. This role is crucial for managing and preparing data for AI and ML applications.


Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes to handle large datasets.
  • Clean and preprocess data to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Tokenize and prepare data for NLP and ML models.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines and architectures.
  • Collaborate with AI and ML engineers to understand data requirements and optimize data workflows.
  • Monitor and ensure data integrity and security.
  • Stay updated with the latest data engineering technologies and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Advanced degrees (Master's, PhD) and graduates from NIT and IIT will be given priority.
  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
  • Strong programming skills in Python or R.
  • Experience with data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, or similar.
  • Familiarity with data cleaning, preprocessing, and tokenization techniques.
  • Understanding of AI and ML concepts and data requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's or PhD in Data Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Knowledge of NLP and ML libraries and frameworks.
  • Experience in a startup or high-growth tech environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure. Published research papers or contributions to open-source AI projects.
