Role : Senior Java Developer Consultant

Location : Coimbatore

Work Schedule : Day Shift, Monday to Saturday (2nd Saturday off)

Compensation : 500 per hour

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer Consultant to join our team in Coimbatore. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in developing scalable and high-performance Java applications. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Java-based solutions while ensuring they are efficient and secure. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities :

Java Application Development :

- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and services.

- Implement high-performance, scalable, and secure Java solutions that meet business requirements.

- Ensure the application's performance, quality, and responsiveness by following best coding practices.

API Development and Integration :

- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and web services.

- Ensure seamless data exchange between systems, collaborating with other developers and teams.

- Implement third-party services and API integrations into the existing architecture.

Database Management :

- Work with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle to create and maintain databases and tables.

- Write efficient SQL queries and perform data manipulation for application requirements.

- Optimize database performance by implementing best practices for indexing, queries, and data integrity.

Code Quality and Testing :

- Write clean, modular, and well-documented code following industry standards and design patterns.

- Conduct unit testing and integration testing to ensure the reliability of developed modules.

- Debug and resolve technical issues that arise during development, testing, and production.

Collaboration and Project Management :

- Work closely with project managers, designers, and other developers to ensure timely delivery of projects.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members.

- Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality standards and ensure code reusability.

System Optimization and Performance Tuning :

- Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of Java applications.

- Conduct profiling and performance tuning to identify bottlenecks and improve efficiency.

- Ensure applications are scalable and secure for both present and future needs.

Continuous Improvement :

- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Java and related technologies.

- Recommend and implement best practices for Java development, ensuring the highest levels of efficiency and code quality.

- Regularly review and refactor code to maintain long-term sustainability of the applications.

Client Interaction and Reporting :

- Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, provide regular updates, and ensure satisfaction with deliverables.

- Prepare and maintain technical documentation for all developed applications and processes.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 4-6 years of hands-on experience in Java development.

- Strong knowledge of Core Java, Java EE, Spring Framework, and Hibernate.

- Proficiency in RESTful API development, database management, and SQL.

- Experience with version control systems like Git.

Desired Skills :

- Knowledge of microservices architecture and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.).

- Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices.

- Strong understanding of multithreading and asynchronous programming.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
