Primary Role

As a manager – Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to lead and manage our cloud infrastructure team. This role will focus on delivering scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions across IaaS and PaaS environments. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills and deep technical expertise in infrastructure deployment, storage, virtualization, and cloud operations.

What you'll do

  • Lead end-to-end cloud infrastructure delivery across IaaS and PaaS platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Manage deployment, configuration, and lifecycle of virtual machines, containers, and cloud-native resources.
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and SLA/OLA compliance for computer, storage, network, and application services in cloud environments.
  • Oversee backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies for cloud workloads.
  • Monitor and manage cloud resource usage, cost optimization, and compliance.
  • Work closely with application teams to support infrastructure needs and platform integrations.
  • Lead troubleshooting of cloud infrastructure incidents and perform root cause analysis.
  • Coach and mentor engineers, contributing to career development and knowledge sharing.
  • Support production infrastructure and applications across all tiers (servers, storage, network, middleware, databases, security).
  • Identify and promote best practices for cloud setup, configuration, and management.
  • Innovate and implement improvements to cloud operations processes.
  • Maintain a collaborative, high-performance team environment focused on quality and efficiency.
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure delivery of responsibilities.
  • Willing to work in rotational shifts.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure with a focus on cloud platforms.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure engineering (AWS, Azure)
  • Strong expertise in IaaS and PaaS services, including virtual machines, load balancers, databases, and serverless components.
  • Experience in storage design and management – object storage (e.g., S3, Blob), file storage (e.g., EFS, Azure Files), and block storage.
  • Proficient in virtual machine provisioning, scaling, and automation.
  • Experience in deploying and managing applications across cloud environments.
  • Solid understanding of cloud networking, security, and access control (VPCs, NSGs, IAM, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible, or similar).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices is a plus.
  • Ability to lead teams, manage projects, and communicate technical topics clearly.
