Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant located in Kolkata. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. Duties include tracking payments, handling budget and expenditure, maintaining general ledgers, and reconciling bank statements. The Accountant will also be responsible for tax preparation, auditing financial documents, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in financial management, budgeting, and accounting
  • Experience with financial software and ERP systems
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and auditing skills
  • Knowledge of tax laws and regulations
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently with accuracy and efficiency
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Certification such as CPA or CMA is a plus
