Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant located in Topsia, Kolkata. The Accountant will be responsible for preparing and examining financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. Daily tasks include managing financial statements, performing audits, reconciling bank statements, preparing tax returns, and advising on financial decisions. Additionally, the Accountant will support budgeting and forecasting, manage payroll, and handle accounts payable and receivable.
Experience
- Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience in leather industry. Other industry experience will not be considered.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge in financial accounting and reporting
- Proficiency in preparing tax returns and ensuring tax compliance
- Experience in managing payroll, accounts payable, and receivable
- Competence in auditing and financial analysis
- Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or relevant certification is a plus
