Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant located in Kolkata. The Accountant will be responsible for preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, performing financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Day-to-day tasks will also include budget preparation, reconciliation of bank statements, tax preparation and filing, and maintaining accurate records of financial transactions. The Accountant will work closely with other departments to ensure financial accuracy and provide financial insights for decision-making.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in preparing financial statements, and managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Strong skills in financial analysis, budget preparation, and reconciliation of bank statements
- Experience in tax preparation and filing, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Experience with accounting software and tools
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification is a plus
