Job Description:We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Chemical Engineer. The successful candidate will work closely with our research scientists to conduct experiments, read scientific papers, identify new findings, create experimental protocols, and contribute to the development of novel chemical engineering solutions. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate with a passion for chemical engineering to gain valuable research experience and make a positive impact in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:Assist research scientists in planning and conducting experiments related to chemical engineering research projects.Perform laboratory techniques such as chemical synthesis, material characterization, and process optimization under the guidance of senior team members.Read and analyze scientific papers to identify new findings and integrate them into ongoing projects.Create and refine experimental protocols to ensure accurate and reproducible results.Maintain accurate and detailed records of experimental procedures, observations, and results.Analyze experimental data using statistical and computational tools, and assist in interpreting findings.Contribute to the preparation of research reports, presentations, and publications.Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve project goals and milestones.Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.Strong academic background with coursework or research experience in chemical engineering, material science, or process optimization.Hands-on laboratory experience with common chemical engineering techniques and equipment.Proficiency in basic laboratory calculations, data analysis, and statistical methods.Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask.Enthusiasm for scientific research and a desire to learn and develop new skills.

Preferred Qualifications:Prior experience working as a research assistant or intern in a chemical engineering laboratory.Familiarity with computational modelling and simulation tools for chemical engineering.Experience with advanced material characterization techniques or process scale-up technologies.Knowledge of relevant software applications such as MATLAB, Aspen Plus, or ChemDraw.
