Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Human Resources Manager at Trill Route School of Contemporary Music located in Bengaluru. The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for overseeing all HR functions, including recruitment, hiring, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and benefits administration. Additionally, the Human Resources Manager will handle HR policies and procedures, maintain employee records, and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Key responsibilities
Strategic HR Planning: Developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with the Company’s goals.
Recruitment and Hiring: Understand staffing needs and ensure timely hiring.
HR Operations: Manage job postings, interview candidates, onboard new staff.
Policy Development: Creating, implementing and enforcing HR policies and procedures.
Performance Management: Conduct quality checks, performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement performance improvement plans.
Training and Development: Coordinating professional development opportunities and staff training sessions.
Employee Development: Focusing on staff development, succession planning, and career progression.
Conflict Resolution: Handling complex employee relations issues and conflicts.
Employee Records : Keeping accurate and confidential employee files, updating records, and managing HR databases.
General Assistance: Supporting the Directors or other administrators with various tasks as needed.
Compliance: Ensuring the school complies with labour laws and employment regulations.
Payroll and Benefits Administration: Handling payroll processing, managing employee benefits, and addressing related inquiries.
HR Reports: Generate and submit comprehensive HR reports to management and regulatory authorities as needed.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of HR practices and labour laws
Proven track record in managing recruitment, talent acquisition, performance management and retention strategies.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Problem-solving, decision-making abilities and and conflict-resolution skills
Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with others
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability for contract negotiation
Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
Professional certification in HR is a plus
Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity and discretion.
