Human Resources Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. The HR Manager will be responsible for recruiting and hiring tailors, managing day-to-day HR activities, overseeing payroll processes, and ensuring compliance with industry standards such as SedEx and SA 8000.
Responsibilities
Recruitment and Hiring:
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract skilled tailors and other personnel.
- Conduct interviews, background checks, and reference checks.
- Onboard new employees and ensure they are integrated smoothly into the company.
Day-to-Day HR Management:
- Manage and resolve employee relations issues.
- Maintain and update employee records.
- Implement HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure a positive and productive work environment.
Payroll Management:
- Oversee payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate salary payments.
- Handle payroll queries and discrepancies.
- Maintain payroll records and reports.
Compliance and Audits:
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as SedEx and SA 8000.
- Prepare for and manage compliance audits.
- Implement corrective actions as needed to maintain compliance.
Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and organize training sessions for employees.
- Promote career development and continuous learning opportunities within the company.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
- 5+ years' experience in Human Resources
- Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies
- Demonstrated expertise training managers and employees
- Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills
- Attention to detail and good judgement
