Job Title : Endpoint Engineer

Scope of Responsibilities / Expectations

Administer the endpoint management platform, including agent deployment and reporting, software deployment, patch management, and endpoint complianceCreating all the necessary documentation for any changes in the environment or new technologies being introduced in the environment.Coordinate with the Service Desk team on enterprise-wide deployment actions and resolving endpoint management agent issuesEnsure software packages and patches are deployed efficiently and as transparently as possibleCoordinate with appropriate resources to ensure that endpoint assets are in compliance with Information security policies and standardsUse scripting and tools to automate operational activities, tasks, system builds and changes in the environment (PowerShell, VBScript. Etc.)Strong analytic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skillsStrong drive to self-learn new technologiesSelf-motivated with ability to work independentlyMust be able to work under pressure and meet project deadlinesStrong decision-making, prioritization, and negotiation skillsStrong communication skills (verbal, written, presentation and negotiation)Ability to weigh various suggested technical solutions against the original business needs and choose the most cost-effective solution.Ability to communicate complex technical information in a concise and articulate mannerDevelop relationships with peer groups, and business unit to stay current with technology

Qualification Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experienceExpertise in Microsoft and/or Mac OS operating systems including developing standardized deployment and configuration in an enterprise8+ years experience using endpoint management technologies such as Entra ID, Active Directory, Office365, GPOs, JAMF, and IntuneExpertise in automating all aspects of endpoint management using scripting tools, APIs, workflow management tools, etc. Expertise in broad array of scripting languages and automation toolsExpertise with OS security hardening and methods for evaluating and applying security standards to endpoints

Skills Requirements

Expert on MEM/Intune administration and software packagingExpert on writing VBScript and PowerShell scriptsExpert on Azure Active Directory administrationExpert on Intune polices administrationExpert on Active Directory GPO administrationExpert at Windows OS install and configurationExpert at providing 3rd level Endpoint Support for Windows 10/11 and Mac OS
