Job OverviewThe person will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end supply chain and operations of800+ SKUs in the makeup industry, ensuring optimal inventory management across all channels,including general trade, ecommerce, modern trade, and exclusive brand outlets (EBOs). The rolerequires a dynamic leader with excellent analytical skills and a proven ability to streamline supplychain processes, avoid overstocking and understocking, and build a high-performance team.

Key Responsibilities1. Supply Chain Management- Oversee the entire supply chain lifecycle, from procurement to inventory management,warehousing, logistics, and distribution.- Ensure optimal stock levels are maintained to avoid overstocking or understocking at alllocations.- Develop strategies to optimize storage, distribution, and replenishment systems for 800makeup SKUs across multiple channels.2. Inventory Optimization- Implement and monitor inventory control processes to maintain the right balance of stock atvarious warehouse locations.- Develop and use advanced forecasting techniques to ensure inventory levels meet demandacross general trade, ecommerce, modern trade, and EBOs.3. SOP Development- Create, implement, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for warehouseoperations, dispatch processes, and logistics teams.- Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies to maintain efficiency andsafety.4. Warehouse & Logistics Operations- Establish efficient warehousing practices, ensuring that all makeup products are stored inoptimal conditions to prevent damage and obsolescence.- Oversee logistics operations, including transportation and distribution, to ensure timelydeliveries and cost-effective solutions.5. Team Leadership & Development- Recruit, train, and build a high-performance supply chain and operations team.- Foster a positive and collaborative work culture that encourages growth and productivity.- Act as a mentor and coach, ensuring the development of team members and effectivesuccession planning.6. Cross-Channel Coordination- Manage the supply chain across multiple sales channels, including general trade, ecommerce,modern trade, and EBOs, ensuring seamless coordination.- Liaise with sales, marketing, and product development teams to ensure accurate forecastingand alignment of supply with business needs.7. Vendor & Stakeholder Management- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners toensure cost-effectiveness and reliability.- Negotiate contracts, manage performance, and resolve any issues related to supply chaindisruptions.8. Data Analysis & Reporting- Leverage data analytics to monitor supply chain performance, identify inefficiencies, andimplement improvements.- Provide regular reports on key supply chain metrics, including inventory turnover, stock levels,and logistics performance.9. Process Improvement & Innovation- Continuously evaluate and enhance supply chain processes to improve efficiency, reducecosts, and improve service levels.- Implement automation and technological solutions to enhance warehouse, logistics, andinventory management operations.

Key Qualifications- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, BusinessAdministration, or related field.- 8+ years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on inventory and logisticsoperations.- Proven track record of managing large SKU portfolios, particularly in the retail or beautyindustry.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills; experience in developing and managing high-performing teams.- Experience with multi-channel operations, including general trade, ecommerce, modern trade,and EBOs.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to manage relationships with internaland external stakeholders.- Proficiency in supply chain management software and systems.Preferred Skills- Experience in the beauty or cosmetics industry.- Knowledge of demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and warehousing best practices.- Strong negotiation and Optimisation skills.- Proficiency in data analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, SAP, or similar systems).
