  • Identify, Lead generation and closing deals, generation of new business and project opportunities in the IT sector, focusing on software and website/portal solutions.
  • Cold calling, appointments, meeting with clients, introduction of company profile, and sales of our product and service.
  • Build and maintain relationships with government agencies to understand their technology needs, understand the technical requirements, and propose technical solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients and stakeholders.
  • Experience in tendering operations, drafting of technical and financial Bids, and submission of them within the deadlines.
  • Liasoning with government departments, Central & state ministries, and PSUs and maintaining business relationships.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve business development goals.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and motivation to the sales team to achieve individual and collective targets.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics, track progress against targets, and analyze sales data.
  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports on sales activities, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts to senior management.
  • Address customer concerns and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with other departments, including marketing, product development, and finance, to ensure a cohesive approach to business goals.
  • Provide valuable insights to support product development and marketing strategies.
  • Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to sales activities.
  • Conduct market research and forecasting of business.

Required Skills

  • Good understanding of SDLC & web/mobile app development frameworks
  • Fluent in English
  • Confident, proactive, and able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • At least 7 years of experience in Government Sales, NICSI, and GEM Tenders
