Compile inventory of applications currently deployed via SCCM. Analyze and rationalize discovered apps to identify actively used applications. Identify unmanaged, duplicate, or obsolete applications. Assess compatibility of applications for Windows 11 and Intune deployment. Fix existing package issues and repackage as needed (MSI, Intune Win formats only). Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and certify applications for production. Package complex, time-consuming tech service applications (~50–80 known apps). Create and maintain custom installation scripts or wrappers (e.g., Power Shell). Import packaged applications into the Admin Studio catalog. Stage and assign applications in Intune. Troubleshoot deployment issues and resolve app assignment failures. Perform core application updates, AP testing, and FOMS patching. Oversee deployments and generate deployment reports. Periodically review and clean up unused applications. Maintain documentation on packaging process, versioning, and application ownership.
