Designation: Senior Engineer (Process and Production)- Klin Operator
Role & responsibilities :
- Operate and monitor the kiln and other production equipment (preheater, cooler, etc.) through DCS (Distributed Control System).
- Maintain stable operating conditions and optimize kiln performance to ensure high clinker quality and thermal efficiency.
- Monitor process parameters such as temperature, pressure, feed rates, and emissions.
- Coordinate with raw mill, coal mill, and cement mill operators for smooth operation.
- Identify process abnormalities and take corrective actions to prevent downtime.
- Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities by providing timely information to the maintenance department.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety, health, and environmental standards.
- Collaborate with quality control to ensure clinker specifications are maintained.
- Participate in process optimization, energy saving, and cost-reduction initiatives.
