Mechanical Engineer HVAC Specialist (GATE Qualified)

Location: Hyderabad, India | Full-time | On-site

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced HVAC Engineer with a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering and mandatory GATE qualification.

Only candidates who have appeared for and qualified the GATE exam are eligible to apply. Others, please excuse.

The role involves working on international high-profile projects with exposure to world-class engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review contract drawings & specifications
  • Prepare and review Bill of Materials (BoQ)
  • Prepare & review shop drawings, engineering submittals, and RFIs
  • Resolve engineering issues and provide technical support
  • Participate in BIM modelling and project close-out documentation
  • Mentor junior engineers and ensure compliance with international standards

Required Candidate Profile

  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering – Mandatory
  • GATE Qualified – Mandatory
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in HVAC design and execution
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems (AHUs, FCUs, VRFs, chilled water, etc.)
  • Experience with AutoCAD, BIM/Revit, and related engineering tools
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
