Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Sponsorship Sales to join our growing team. This role will be responsible for identifying, securing, and managing new sponsorship opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the sponsorship landscape, the ability to build strong relationships with potential clients, and a proven track record of driving revenue through sponsorship deals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • New Business Development: Identify and pursue new sponsorship opportunities within target industries, including but not limited to media, sports, events, and digital platforms.
  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key sponsors and potential partners, ensuring long-term collaboration and satisfaction.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a strategic approach to sponsorship sales, ensuring alignment with company goals, target markets, and brand objectives.
  • Proposal Development: Create compelling sponsorship proposals and presentations that align with clients' needs, business objectives, and budget requirements.
  • Negotiation: Lead the negotiation and closing of sponsorship contracts, ensuring favorable terms for both the client and the organization.
  • Revenue Growth: Achieve and exceed sales targets, contributing directly to the company's overall revenue growth.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and new opportunities to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, events, and creative teams to deliver exceptional value to sponsors and ensure seamless execution of sponsorship activations.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Provide regular updates on sales performance, deal status, and pipeline activity. Monitor the success of sponsorship campaigns and work with the client to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sponsorship sales, business development, or a related field (preferably in media and events sectors).
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in securing sponsorship deals and meeting/exceeding revenue targets.
  • Skills:
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Proficient in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of market trends and competitive landscape.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
