Overview of the Function:

The domestic business at CredAble is primarily responsible for the expansion of CredAble’s Banking as a Service (BaaS) offering in India and across the global. We do so with our ‘Banking as a Service (BaaS)’ offerings by white labelling our Platform for leading Banks to power them with:

  • A Digital Supply Chain Financing Platform for the Bank to run anchor or vendor led financing programs on both procurement or distribution side of business;
  • A Digital Financing Platform for the Bank to offer SMEs with Trade and Working Capital Financing products along with growth tools on Payments and Cash Management
  • A low code Loan Origination System for the Bank to run digital end to end lending programs for both Retail and SME Customers


Reporting to: The role will be working closely with the COO and Global MD for Enterprise Coverage & Trade.


Location – Mumbai (Chembur), India

Your Role at CredAble

  • Responsible for BaaS Business Development for India with Revenue Targets on Annual Recurring Revenue and number of new Banking logos on-boarded for the region
  • Lead the sales cycle from Warm lead converting to a Sale; Sale to Implementation of the Platform and nurture the relationship post implementation India BAAS (Sales)
  • Manage relationship a network of Strategic and Business Development Partners (leading Consultants, Tech Platforms, other local Organizations to represent us) to build referral or co-sell arrangements to generate new business • Manage relationship with a network of ecosystem partners (e.g. Digital KYC solutions) who can strengthen CredAble’s value proposition in India.
  • Lead the participation in RFP or any proposal by CredAble in the region along with structuring of the commercial model and obtaining necessary internal clearance before the submission.


What will you bring to CredAble?

  • Experience working in technology sales to Financial Institutions in India
  • Excellent negotiation and people management skills.
  • 10+ Years of experience in BD Roles with other tech companies or Platforms with banks as target segment. Experience of prior business development focused on India markets is a plus
  • Understanding of Retail Lending or Working Capital Financing, Supply Chain Financing or SME Lending is a plus.
  • Focused on bringing in new Banking Partnerships and winning new mandates from both new and existing banks
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
  • Fluent in giving presentations to top-level management of banks and other Financial Institutions • Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization
  • Structured and ability to think on his/her feet.

Education: Masters in Sales and Marketing or any relevant field.
