We are seeking an experienced Business Development & Operations Manager to join our Accessories and Home division.
This role combines strategic business development with operational excellence, requiring a seasoned professional who can drive growth while ensuring seamless execution of sourcing operations.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with UK, European, and Scandinavian retailers
- Build and scale customer accounts through strategic account management
- Develop new business opportunities and expand market presence in target regions
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities in accessories and home categories
- Prepare and present compelling business proposals to potential clients
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with international retailers
Operations Management
- Oversee end-to-end sourcing operations for accessories and home products
- Manage production merchandising processes from concept to delivery
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure quality standards and timely delivery
- Handle order management, shipment coordination, and logistics oversight
Experience & Background
- 10-15 years of progressive work experience in reputed Sourcing Agencies/Factories.
- Proven track record of building and scaling customer accounts in international markets
- Mandatory experience working with UK & European retailers.
- Strong background in production merchandising and sourcing operations
- Experience in accessories and/or home product categories preferred
Skills & Competencies
- Deep understanding of international retail markets.
- Excellent relationship-building and account management capabilities
- Strong negotiation and commercial acumen
- Comprehensive knowledge of sourcing processes, supply chain management, and quality control
- Experience in production planning, merchandising, and vendor management
- Proficiency in market analysis and business development strategies
