What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Senior Delegate Acquisition executive to work on booking qualified delegates for our events. The delegates attending will be C-suite executives, heads of departments, and VIPs. You will be responsible for creating and implementing strategies to acquire a diverse and influential pool of delegates. Your efforts will be instrumental in ensuring our events attract thought leaders, industry experts, key stakeholders, and decision-makers.

What you will deliver:

Identifying and researching potential delegates based on event topics, industry trends, and targeted demographics. Developing and executing targeted delegate acquisition strategies tailored to each event. Meeting or exceeding set targets. Create compelling outreach campaigns to attract senior stakeholders, including email, social media, and direct communication. Making outbound calls to contact potential delegates who are senior decision-makers to brief them about the upcoming event agenda, and confirm their invitations and attendance. Update CRM records with call and email interactions, and follow-up contact. Achieve target delegate numbers for the event. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless registration process and a positive delegate experience.

Must Haves for the Role:

Degree Educated or equivalent education. Minimum of 2 years of experience in acquiring delegates for B2B events, conferences, or trade shows. Worked on events with a minimum of 500 attendees. Ability to navigate your way through switchboards/gatekeepers and get through to the right individual. Must have excellent telephone manners. Excellent objection-handling experience. Experience with CRM systems. Excellent creative thinking and problem-solving skills to tailor outreach strategies for different events and delegate segments. Consultative sales approach to build relationships and rapport, we are not looking for someone to merely read off scripts
