Job Description

An Account Manager’s main role is to manage, service, and grow customers relationships. They work to satisfy customers’ needs and requests, respond to their queries in a timely manner and deliver a positive customer experience.


Requirements •Communicate with customers to understand their requests and goals
•Respond to customers’ queries and ensure a positive customer experience
•Monitor trends and changes to a customer’s purchase behavior and follow up to determine root causes
•Keep the sales representative abreast of any changes to the client’s business and resolve any internal issues that may be responsible for those changes
•Notify the sales representative of any competitor actions that may be drawing our customer’s business away from TRAFFIX
•Proactively identify potential problems and resolve them before they escalate
•Provide ad-hoc rates to clients upon request or in response to automated load tendering sites
•Monitor loading, unloading and appointments – follow up with customers regarding delays, missed appointments, and late arrivals
•Write client-specific SOPs and train back up Account Managers to cover you during vacation and other time off
•Assist other team members to enable their success
