The Thought Co. is a Mumbai-based organization dedicated to mental health awareness and care. Our mission is to create a growing resource of reliable information on mental health and provide support and intervention strategies for individuals experiencing difficulties with anxiety, stress, depression, low mood, and other psychiatric concerns.
Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Chief of Staff at The Thought Co. As the Chief of Staff, you will be responsible for assisting the executive team in daily operations, strategic planning, and coordinating cross-functional initiatives. This is an on-site role in Mumbai.
Qualifications
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in project management and cross-functional coordination
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Knowledge of mental health issues and a passion for promoting mental well-being
Experience in the healthcare or nonprofit sector is a plus
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
Stipend: INR 17,500 p/m - minimum duration 6 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organizational and Time Management: Efficiently manage complex calendars, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously, ensuring smooth operations and timely completion of assignments.
- Communication: Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills for drafting correspondence, emails, and reports, and facilitating effective interactions with stakeholders.
- Technical Proficiency : Utilize MS Office Suite, calendar management tools, video conferencing platforms, and cloud-based storage systems effectively.
- Sales and Client Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong client relationships, provide excellent customer service, support sales activities, and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, market trends, and business opportunities, and analyze industry data and competitor strategies.
- Lead Generation: Generate and qualify leads through networking, cold calling, email campaigns, and attending industry events.
- Partnership Development: Identify and evaluate potential strategic partnerships, negotiate agreements, and manage ongoing relationships to expand market reach.
- Sales Strategy Execution: Implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth, monitor sales performance, and adjust strategies to optimize outcomes.
- Interpersonal Skills: Interact professionally with individuals at all levels, both internally and externally, contributing to a positive work environment and team goals.
- Confidentiality and Professionalism: Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain a high level of professionalism in all interactions.
- Attention to Detail: Maintain meticulous attention to detail in all tasks, ensuring accuracy and completeness in administrative and business development responsibilities.
- Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Proactively identify and resolve issues, stay composed under pressure, and adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
- Resourcefulness and Independence: Conduct research, gather information, and solve problems independently when necessary.
- Proposal Development: Collaborate with internal teams to develop and present compelling proposals and pitches tailored to client requirements.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, and engage in professional development activities to enhance relevant skills and knowledge.
