JOB DESCRIPTION : HR Operations - Payroll
DEPARTMENT : Human Resources
The HR Operations is a pivotal member of the Human Resources (HR) team, responsible for executing and managing various HR operational tasks and processes while also actively contributing to HR business partnering initiatives. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth functioning of HR-related activities, supporting both employees and management. The HR Operations and Business Partner collaborates with different departments, HR Business Partners, and external vendors to deliver efficient and effective HR services, while also acting as a strategic partner to business leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Data Management:
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HR information system (HRIS).
· Process employee lifecycle changes, such as new hires, transfers, promotions, terminations, and other employee status changes.
· Generate reports and analyze HR data to provide insights for decision-making.
· Payroll and Benefits Administration:
· Collaborate with finance and payroll departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll.
· Assist employees with benefits enrollment, inquiries, and issue resolution.
· Coordinate with benefits providers to manage benefit plans effectively.
· Compliance and Policy Adherence:
· Stay updated with labor laws and regulations, ensuring HR processes are compliant.
· Administer company policies and procedures, guiding employees and managers on policy-related matters.
Onboarding and Offboarding:
· Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation, paperwork, and system setup.
· Conduct exit interviews and handle offboarding procedures.
· Employee Relations:
· Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
· Assist in resolving employee relations issues by collaborating with HR Business Partners and management.
· HR Process Improvement:
· Continuously identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains within HR operations.
· Propose and implement streamlined processes to enhance the employee experience.
· Employee Engagement and Recognition:
· Support employee engagement initiatives and recognition programs.
HR Analytics and Reporting:
· Generate HR-related reports and analyze data to identify trends and provide insights for strategic decision-making.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
· Proven 5-7 experiences in HR operations, HR administration, or a related HR role.
· Strong knowledge of HR processes, policies, and procedures.
· Familiarity with HRIS and other HR-related software applications.
· Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain data accuracy.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
· Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
· Strong organizational and time management skills.
· A proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement.
· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
