Role Overview:

As a Project Mentor (PM) at R-Hub, you will play a crucial role in shaping the next generation of researchers. You will guide students through the intricacies of modern research methods, helping them develop, execute, and present research projects that adhere to the highest academic standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Guidance: Assist students in identifying or refining research topics within their chosen domain.

Deliverable Feedback: Assign and evaluate deliverables throughout the project lifecycle and providing feedback

One-on-One Mentorship: Conduct 1-on-1 sessions with students to guide them through each phase of their project.

Resource Sharing: Provide students with relevant literature, data sources, and other project-related resources.

Progress Documentation: Track and document the progress of each project in a phase-wise manner, submitting reports to the Director after every session.

Project Completion: Ensure that projects are completed and submitted within the given deadlines as per R-Hub guidelines.

Collaboration: Coordinate with Global R-Hub Faculty Advisors to gain feedback and approval at different project stages.

Support & Compliance: Offer additional support to students if they face difficulties meeting deadlines and communicating any issues to the Director promptly.

Qualifications:

Education: Currently pursuing or having completed a Ph.D. or Postdoc in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Finance, Economics, or Psychology etc... from a top-tier institution, with outstanding academic performance and a strong, self-motivated research mindset.

Research Skills : Solid understanding of research methodologies and data analysis techniques.

Technical Skills : Strong command of statistical software (e.g., SPSS, R, Stata, Python) and proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is a must.

Excellent academic writing and verbal communication skills.

Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Detail-oriented, able to work both independently and collaboratively.
