Dubai-based reputed MEP Consultancy company wants to recruit Senior Mechanical Engineer for its Mumbai office.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
  2. Minimum 10+ years of similar experience (preferably in Consultancy field).
  3. Knowledge of local codes (NBC, IS CODES ETC.)
  4. Working knowledge of Plumbing, Fire Fighting HVAC design systems with all relevant calculation & system selection like DX, VRF, Chillers (Air cooled and water cooled) and AutoCAD.
  5. Positive mindset and able to groom team.
  6. Team Player
  7. Strong knowledge of local & International codes with very good written and verbal communication skills in English.
  8. Candidate should have experience of handling a team of designers with technical support. Should be good in client coordination, preferably be from Consultancy background.

Job responsibilities of the role:

  1. Coordinate with all the stakeholders of the project for coordination and attend all meetings with Client.
  2. Monitor planning, designing and developing mechanical engineering services like Water supply, Drainage, Firefighting & HVAC services.
  3. Manage Design Questionnaire, Space planning, Design basis/ concept report in consultation with Electrical counterpart through the design team.
  4. Develop & design mechanical calculations, and Preparation of MOEF support documents like calculation as per the Authority drawing & Equipment schedules.
  5. Review of Plumbing, Fire Fighting & HVAC design drawings at all stages and developing Specifications and BOQ of the same.
  6. Should be able to communicate effectively at all levels to support collaborative work practices.
  7. Maintain Customer focus and adhere to the "Quality & Time".
  8. Apply technical knowledge to resolve the problems and willing to learn new skills.

This position is responsible for leading Mechanical Design Engineers & Designers on various projects in development of design concepts, calculations, schemes and authority required documentations.
