Role Overview:

We are seeking a talented Process Designer to join our team. The role involves developing and reviewing process flow diagrams, P&IDs, and process simulations for oil & gas and petrochemical projects, ensuring compliance with international standards and project specifications. This hybrid position offers flexibility to work remotely while attending key project meetings and site visits near Nagercoil.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and review Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).

· Create heat and material balance calculations for process systems.

· Support process simulations and optimization studies using industry-standard tools.

· Prepare process datasheets and specifications for equipment and instruments.

· Ensure compliance with relevant international standards and safety regulations.

· Collaborate with mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation teams for integrated design solutions.

· Participate in design reviews, HAZOP sessions, and safety studies.

· Provide technical support during procurement, construction, and commissioning.

· Assist in troubleshooting process issues and providing improvement recommendations.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.

· 3–8 years of experience as a process designer in oil & gas or petrochemical projects.

· Proficiency in process design and software such as SPPID, AVEVA, Autocad or equivalent.

· Strong understanding of process safety and environmental compliance requirements.

· Experience with PFD and P&ID development and review processes.

· Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
