Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Pipeline Designer to join our team. The role involves preparing and reviewing pipeline layouts, alignment sheets, and 3D models for oil & gas and petrochemical projects, ensuring compliance with international standards and project specifications. This hybrid position offers flexibility to work remotely while attending key project meetings and site visits near Nagercoil.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare pipeline route layouts, alignment sheets, and general arrangement drawings.

· Develop 2D and 3D pipeline models using CAD and design software.

· Ensure designs comply with international pipeline standards and project requirements.

· Assist in preparing Material Take-Offs (MTO) for pipeline projects.

· Coordinate with civil, process, mechanical, and electrical teams for integrated designs.

· Support stress analysis activities and incorporate findings into design layouts.

· Provide technical support during construction, installation, and commissioning phases.

· Participate in design reviews and ensure safety and constructability requirements are met.

· Maintain accurate documentation and as-built records for pipeline designs.

Qualifications:

· Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

· 3–8 years of experience as a pipeline designer in oil & gas or industrial projects.

· Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, PDMS, E3D, or equivalent tools.

· Knowledge of international pipeline codes and standards (ASME B31.4, ASME B31.8, API, ISO, etc.).

· Experience in pipeline routing and interdisciplinary coordination.

· Good analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

· Attention to detail and commitment to design accuracy.
