Key Objective / Purpose of the Job:
Need to have extensive experience in
CheckPoint Firewall (VNF) , Checkpoint MDS and Checkpoint MLM /Cisco ISE
Should identify, troubleshoot and resolve any hardware, software or configuration related incidents observed on any equipment across network.Support for a variety of security services and platformsProvide Support for L2 Escalated cases and detailed analysis of security alertsProviding security operations, maintenance functions, and troubleshootingMonitoring of health of Security Components & sanity checksPerforms deep-drive incident analysis by correlating data from various sourcesDetermines if a critical system or data set has been impacted & advises on remediationConfigure, manage and operate: Firewall, URL Filtering, SSL VPN, NSM, etc. and elements which are deployed to secure large networksLicenses management & Backups and RestorationContinually striving to reduce customer-impacting outages/degradations and restoring service Responsible for preparing Method of Procedure for any configuration changes and follow Change management procedures.Should have good Knowledge and working experience on Cisco ISE, CheckpointShould be skilled in Firewall and VPN troubleshooting.Responsible for leading any planned scheduled maintenance activities.Should be able to lead any incident calls with OEM technical support and provide any inputs required for restoration. Resolve Customer Escalations.Understanding of Integration with LDAP and TACACSType of Experience: Global | Build and Manage | Tech Lead / Architect | Strong Customer liaising skills/expAdministration of Enterprise Web Content Filtering platformWeb Content Filtering – Blocking / unblocking for – DOT / Internet Watch Foundation (IWF).Configure, manage Reports - Dashboards and ReportsCoordinate with Security & Network team, vendors and customers to resolve critical events;Other Security SkillsShould have knowledge on
Checkpoint MDS and Checkpoint MLM , CheckPoint Firewall (VNF) ,Cisco ISE Should have good Knowledge and working experience on Firewall, Proxy, ISEShould have good understanding on protocols AAA, RADIUS, TACACS, dot1x etc.Should have understanding on Cloud and Cloud securityNeed to have knowledge on VNF environment e.g. Checkpoint VNFResolve Customer Escalations.Act as a key SPOC for L3 Incidents.Type of Experience: Global | Build and Manage | Tech Lead / Architect | Strong Customer liaising skills/exp
Required SkillsTechnicalConfigure & Manage: Firewalls, VPN, IDS, IPS, UTM devices hardware and software operation. Strong understanding of network and security technologiesHand on skills in configure, administer, and document firewall infrastructure.Deep knowledge on working with Checkpoint /FortiGate/ FirewallMaintain High Availability and Clustered firewall environments for customers using Check Point High Availability. Managing Check Point Smart Console Dashboard.Proven Knowledge of IPS Software blades and others.Deep understanding of VNF Related DeploymentIDS/ IPS Threat Monitoring and Tuning on Smart Console.Knowledge of network protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, RIP, VLAN, TCP/IP, etc.).
FunctionalProblem-Solving abilities will help stay on top of issues besides helping in resolving the same smoothly & efficiently.Good Interpersonal skills matters.Systems and process knowledge are key drivers on the job.
