Seed Transformation Network is seeking a full-time consultant for the position of Community Manager to manage and grow the Seed Transformation Network (STN).
Seed Transformation Network is a network of all past participants of our year-long Seed Transformation Program designed exclusively for CEOs/Founders of SMEs in the revenue range of $150K to $15M. Currently, there are 280+ business leaders part of the Seed South Asia chapter.
The Community Manager is responsible for the management and day-to-day administration of the Seed Transformation Network to ensure smooth operations of the network. The Community Manager reports to the STN Executive Council, Seed South Asia.
CORE DUTIES
  • Manage ongoing STN activities - learning series, networking events, and webinars
  • Build action plan and execution of enabling business among Network members.
  • Drive STN annual membership fee collection from the members
  • Manage communications with the STN members through virtual online community-management tools and other methods
  • Create an annual budget for the STN.
  • Identify potential resources/partners to build knowledge series sessions and business engagement for STN members.
  • Lead Seed impact data collection efforts, by formulating and executing strategies to collect and analyze the critical company growth data from STN members.
  • Work directly with Seed staff to promote the Stanford student internship program, coaching program, and consultant program to the STN. Work closely with STN members to source coaching, consulting, and intern projects, including helping them write effective briefs
  • Design and execute a program to build a network of credentialled service providers that will be useful for STN members
  • Collate publicly available information about Network members and coordinate with external marketing agencies for STN Social media
  • Drive participation for the STN events
These duties may be adjusted as needed to suit the business needs of the Seed Transformation Network.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and at least 2 - 4 years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience
  • Prior experience in startup incubation or managing entrepreneur groups is desired.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with office software and email applications. Proficiency in Google Workspace tools (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides), Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and Zoom
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, multi-task, take initiative and ownership and operate with limited supervision
  • Demonstrated excellent organizational and administrative skills
  • Ability to accomplish goals working through formal and informal channels, with diplomacy and tact
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service, persuasion and interpersonal skills
  • May work variable hours, evenings or weekends
  • May travel locally and/or internationally with occasional overnight travel
  • Proficiency in English
Salary: 4.2L - 4.8L PA
