Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Senior Software Engineer at Amicure Health. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining back-end web applications. This includes designing and implementing software features, writing robust code, conducting code reviews, debugging and troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This is a hybrid role located in Guwahati.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain scalable, responsive web applications using Angular and React for frontend components.
  • Design and implement backend services and APIs using Python and Java, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and services into the application as needed.
  • Implement testing strategies, including unit testing and integration testing, to ensure code quality and reliability.
  • Optimize application performance and ensure responsiveness across various devices and browsers.
  • Continuously research and evaluate new technologies and tools to enhance development processes and improve product offerings.
  • Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and actively seeking feedback on your own code.
  • Contribute to documentation efforts, including technical specifications, architecture diagrams, and user guides.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proficiency in frontend development using Angular and React, including experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, NgRx).
  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Experience developing RESTful APIs and micro-services using Python and Java.
  • Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of deployment pipelines and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
  • Ability to work in an Agile development environment and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Salary and Compensation

  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience and skills.
  • Salary range: 3.5 - 6 LPA


Minimum Years of Experience

At least 5 years of professional experience in full stack development.
