Job Description Pre-Sales Executive (Interiors)

Position: Pre-Sales Executive
Department: Sales & Business Development
Location: Bangalore
Reports to: Sales Manager / Business Development Head

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Pre-Sales Executive to support our interior design and fit-out projects. The role involves engaging with prospective clients through inbound and outbound calls, understanding their requirements, nurturing leads, and coordinating with the design/sales team to ensure smooth conversion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inbound Calls:

  • Attend and respond to client inquiries received via phone, email, or online channels.

  • Provide information on interior services, company offerings, and process.
  • Capture client details and qualify leads for further engagement.

  • Outbound Calls:

  • Proactively reach out to potential customers from databases, campaigns, and referrals.

  • Follow up with leads, schedule site visits, and set up meetings with sales/design teams.
  • Nurture warm leads and re-engage dormant prospects to maximize conversion.

  • Lead Management: Maintain updated lead database and ensure timely follow-ups.

  • Proposal Support: Assist in preparing quotations, presentations, and proposals.
  • Coordination: Arrange client meetings, design discussions, and site visits.
  • CRM & Reporting: Update CRM tools and provide reports on lead status and conversion progress.
  • Market Research: Track competitor activities and customer trends to support business development.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong telephone etiquette with persuasive speaking ability.
  • Customer-centric mindset and good listening skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage inbound & outbound call volumes.
  • Proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace; CRM knowledge preferred.
  • Target-oriented, energetic, and result-driven.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Graduate in Business Administration / Marketing / Interior Design or equivalent.
  • 1–3 years of experience in pre-sales, tele-sales, or customer engagement (interior design)
