Weddings are a single-take service — there are no second chances — and come with a unique set of operational challenges. In just 18 months, we have: ● Planned & executed 400+ weddings worth ₹120+ crore in total service value ● Become operationally profitable (as of Oct 2024) while serving weddings in the ₹10 lakh–₹5 crore range ● Raised ₹8 crore ($1M) in pre-seed funding from marquee investors including LVX, Tremis Capital, and Dropbox Co-founder Arash Ferdowsi ● Built a vetted network of 2,000+ vendors across 8+ destinations (India & Thailand) Our mission: Make wedding planning stress-free, transparent, and delightful — for couples, vendors, and all stakeholders. What We’re Looking For We are seeking a Payments Collection Executive who will be responsible for ensuring smooth invoice management, timely payment collections, and seamless coordination between internal teams (especially Finance, Supply & Category Teams) This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to follow through until the job is done. What You’ll Do 1. Invoice & Payment Management ● Raise accurate invoices for completed projects promptly ● Maintain updated payment trackers, ensuring zero missed follow-ups ● Verify and reconcile payments with the Finance team 2. Payment Follow-ups ● Engage with vendor partners via calls, emails, and messages for pending payments ● Professionally address vendor partner queries regarding payment terms and invoices, if any ● Escalate unresolved payment issues to the appropriate stakeholders 3. Cross-Team Coordination ● Work closely with the Finance Team for reconciliations and settlements ● Coordinate with City Supply Teams for project-related payment updates ● Share periodic payment status with the Finance team 4. Process Discipline & Reporting ● Prepare weekly & monthly payment collection reports ● Identify, suggest process improvements for faster collections & better partner satisfaction Required Skills & Qualifications ● 1–2 years of experience in collections, accounts receivable (Non-Negotiable) ● Strong follow-up discipline and attention to detail ● Excellent communication and negotiation skills ● Proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets ● Familiarity with GST invoicing and basic accounting principles (Optional)
