Position Overview:

Coceptual Media is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Media Monitoring Specialist for a 2.5-month project. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in media monitoring, analysis, and reporting, with expertise in tracking various media channels, including print, broadcast, and digital platforms. This role is crucial in providing timely insights into media coverage, trends, and public perception to support strategic decision-making.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and track media coverage across multiple platforms, including newspapers, television, radio, websites, and social media.
  • Analyze media content to identify key trends, issues, and sentiments in public discourse.
  • Compile daily, weekly, and monthly media reports highlighting coverage, tone, and key talking points.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness and reach of media coverage, focusing on relevant topics, stakeholders, and public reactions.
  • Collaborate with the internal team to provide real-time insights into breaking news, political developments, and public opinion trends.
  • Maintain and update media monitoring databases and tools to ensure comprehensive tracking of media mentions.
  • Analyze the impact of media coverage on reputation, public sentiment, and political developments.
  • Stay up to date with news cycles, media outlets, and key journalists in relevant sectors.


Qualifications:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in media monitoring, media analysis, or related roles.

- Expertise in monitoring traditional and digital media platforms.

- Proficient in media monitoring tools, software, and techniques for tracking media content.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to summarize complex media trends.

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver accurate insights under tight deadlines.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and media tracking tools.

- Familiarity with Maharashtra’s media landscape and local languages (Marathi and English).


Preferred Skills:

- Experience in political campaigns, public relations, or communications.

- Knowledge of sentiment analysis and media impact assessment.

- Ability to quickly adapt to evolving media trends and news cycles.
