Role Description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our business by identifying new opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and promoting our software development services, including bidding on various online portals and staff augmentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation: Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, market research, and other lead generation strategies.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored software solutions.
Sales Strategy: Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve company revenue goals.
Market Analysis: Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape to inform business development strategies.
Proposal Development: Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals and presentations to prospective clients.
Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure new business deals.
Collaboration: Work closely with the technical team to ensure client requirements are understood and met.
Reporting: Maintain detailed records of sales activities, pipeline status, and client interactions in CRM systems. Prepare regular reports for senior management on business development progress.
Networking: Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network and promote our services.
Bidding on Portals: Actively participate in bidding on various online portals such as Upwork, Freelancer, and other relevant platforms to secure new projects.
Staff Augmentation: Promote and manage staff augmentation services, providing clients with qualified software development professionals to meet their project needs.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within the software development industry.
Skills:
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong understanding of software development processes and technologies.
Ability to think strategically and identify new market opportunities.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with bidding on online portals and understanding of their processes.
Knowledge of staff augmentation services and experience in promoting them.
Self-motivated, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a high level of initiative.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
