ITOM Discovery, Service Mapping & CMDB, Orchestration & Cloud Management Consultant

Position Summary:

- Candidate must have experience on tools related to Orchestration, Cloud Service Automation, Open stack, Smart cloud provisioning, private Cloud, managed cloud needs for enterprises- Candidate would be responsible for design / develop / enhance Orchestrator workflows that can be triggered from Service Catalogues and Management Portal- Candidate would be responsible for development / modification / enhance interfaces between Orchestrator and other products like Active Directory, SAML, Cloud Platform (Azure, AWS, VMWare), Software Provisioning Tools (SCCM, HP Server Automation), Network/Firewall Provisioning & Management Tools (HP NA, QIP, Infoblox, Panorama), ITSM Tools (ServiceNow), Monitoring Tools & CMDB.- Candidate would need to understand / validate / troubleshoot / modify (even development of small pieces) scripts/programs required to Orchestrate IT Infrastructure activities- Candidate with experience or exposure to various operating systems (Windows/Linux/Solaris) and virtualization technologies would be preferred.- Candidate would need to understand technical service requirement and design/enhance forms for Service Offerings in Cloud Automation- Candidate would need to participate in pre-sales technical support for the development and implementation of complex products and solutions around cloud infrastructure./ Candidate must have a proven track record in successfully designing & implementing CMDB for an enterprise- Candidate must have experience with industry leading Discovery tools- Candidate must have experience in implementing large and complex business service mapping solutions- Candidate must have knowledge about IT Infra components and properties in scope of Service Mapping- Candidate would need to understand the Application architecture and design the service map accordingly- Candidate would need to identify risks and issues related to Application/Infra Service Mapping needs- Candidate would need to have experience with Event Management alert setup in Service Mapping- Candidate should have expertise in identifying functional, technical, and business requirements and provide solutions.- In addition, candidate is expected to support monitoring practice development initiatives, customer presentations / demonstrations.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Design / Implementation / Support of orchestration & cloud management tools for medium to complex environments- Perform complex / technical solution design and implementations. Create solutions based on ITIL good practices and implementations. Maintain documentation of configured metrics and configurations. Interact with Infra / Network / Application stakeholders in determining appropriate orchestration needs. Programming and / or scripting languages exposure would be plus. Design / Implementation / Support of Discovery, Service Mapping & CMDB needs for medium to complex environments. Perform complex / technical solution design and implementations- Create solutions based on ITIL good practices and implementations. Maintain documentation of configured metrics and configurations. Interact with Infra / Network / Application stakeholders in determining appropriate monitoring needs. Programming and / or scripting languages exposure would be plus

Experience:

- 3 - 9 Years of industry experience with orchestration & management tools with hands-on experience in large implementations

Knowledge and Skills Required:

- Experience on ServiceNow Orchestration & Cloud Management, Ansible, VRealize Automation etc.- Produces technical solutions/architectures that are dependable, modifiable and scalable- Expertise in ServiceNow scripting- Good exposure to regular expressions and developing Service mapping patterns

ServiceNow ITOM/AIOps/Cloud Automation Solutions Consultants

- Serve as primary technical point-of-contact ServiceNow ITOM for business users and internal teams- Define technical solutions for architecture and design that are aligned with ECI’s business problems and ServiceNow ITOM/ Automation/ CMDB implementation best practices- Maintain expert knowledge of the ServiceNow ITOM / CMDB Products; Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, HLA, AIOps, Orchestration, Integration Hub, Cloud Management, including ServiceNow Common Service Data Model, CSDM.- Co-lead requirements gathering workshops with internal business stakeholders to provide technical guidance, and assist with capturing all necessary business, functional and technical requirements necessary to design and implement the solution- Collaborate with internal business stakeholders to write/estimate stories- Oversee developers’ work, and own overall quality and delivery of development- Capable of executing hands-on development for stories that cannot be delegated- Responsible for sprint demos internally, delivery of additional development artifacts and documentation, and knowledge transfer activities as required- Work collaboratively with ServiceNow team and business stakeholders to monitor for scope creep and resolve critical path technical issues and challenges- Provide mentorship to developers and platform engineers on technical design standards and best practices.

What You’ll Bring To The Table

- Proven experience as a key technical resource leading the development and delivery of ITOM / CMDB / AIOps solutions in ServiceNow environments- Expert level proficiency in ITOM /CMDB produce line including current ITOM / CMDB CIS certification(s)- ServiceNow ITOM/AIOps Consultants should have relevant experience of 4+ years- As a consultant focusing on ITOM development and configuration on ServiceNow platform this resource will deliver finalized ServiceNow Solutions utilizing the ServiceNow ITOM applications- The ITOM Technical Architect is comfortable in Json scripting and coding ITOM solutions, namely Event, Discovery, Service Mapping, AIOps and Orchestration- Knowledgeable and familiar in the ServiceNow ITOM offerings and can lead a customer through knowledge and requirements discussions for implementing and deploying ServiceNow ITOM, including the following: Event Management, Discovery, CMDB, Orchestration, Service Mapping & Integrations- Code and Develop customized Patterns, Probes and Sensors for Discovery and Service Mapping.- Sound knowledge in CMDB and IT Operations management- Deliver technical workshops on ITOM: Event, Discovery, CMDB, HLA, Orchestration, Service Mapping, Cloud Management- Expert understanding on import sets and transform maps, working with external data sources, ServiceNow data mapping- Knowledge on identification, classification rule in CMDB- Knowledge over event and alert rule- Articulate the ServiceNow CMDB Classes for Asset and Configuration, their relationships, and dependencies
