Position: Digital Sales Pioneer
Location: Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore
Job Overview: The Digital Sales Head will play a pivotal role in defining and executing our sales strategy within the digital media sector. This individual will have extensive experience and a deep understanding of digital media sales, including online advertising, content marketing, social media, and analytics. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the sales team, developing strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Formulation: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy specifically for digital media solutions, focusing on B2B and B2C sectors.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of achievement and accountability.
- Client Acquisition & Retention: Identify and pursue new business opportunities while managing relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
- Specialized Knowledge: Leverage expertise in digital advertising formats (e.g., PPC, SEO, social media advertising) to provide strategic insights and solutions to clients.
- Market Research and Analysis: Analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and customer needs to position the company effectively and identify growth opportunities.
- Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Develop and maintain sales forecasts, performance metrics, and regular reports for the executive team.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to ensure a seamless service delivery and alignment on strategic goals.
- Performance Monitoring: Set clear performance metrics and drive accountability within the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Budget Management: Manage the sales budget efficiently, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to maximize revenue.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in digital media sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
- Proven track record of sales success in the digital media space and a deep understanding of digital marketing strategies and platforms.
- Strong knowledge of analytics and tools that measure digital campaign performance.
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills with the ability to inspire and drive results.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities tailored towards client needs.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and sales performance software.
