We are seeking a knowledgeable Technical Project Manager to lead our engineering team, ensure the timely delivery of projects, and enhance communication across the board.


Important Note: Fluent English proficiency is essential for this role. The first round of the interview process will assess your English communication skills. Only apply if your English is nearly native-level, as you will need to effectively collaborate with a team that operates exclusively in English.


Role Overview: The Technical Project Manager will oversee engineering projects using ClickUp and work closely with the CTO to navigate technical challenges and adjust project priorities. This role requires a solid understanding of full-stack development with TypeScript and at least 3 years of experience in project management.


Key Responsibilities:


Project Management:

  • Utilise ClickUp for planning, tracking, and managing engineering projects.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure successful delivery.


Collaboration with CTO:

  • Partner with the CTO to understand technical requirements and project goals.
  • Reassess and adjust project priorities and plans based on feedback and evolving business needs.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with the CTO to review project status and address any issues.


Technical Understanding:

  • Apply a strong understanding of full-stack TypeScript development to guide the engineering team.
  • Address technical challenges and provide support to ensure the project meets technical requirements.


Team Communication:

  • Facilitate effective communication within the engineering team and with other departments.
  • Organise and lead team meetings to review progress, set priorities, and resolve issues.
  • Ensure clear and consistent communication of project goals, timelines, and responsibilities.


Stakeholder Management:

  • Manage and prioritise inbound requests from stakeholders.
  • Provide timely and clear updates to stakeholders on project status and changes.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders to ensure their needs are met.


Risk Management:

  • Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Proactively address issues that arise during the project lifecycle to minimise impact.


Process Improvement:

  • Continuously assess and improve project management processes and tools to enhance team efficiency.
  • Implement best practices for project management and team collaboration.


Qualifications:

Experience:

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Technical Project Manager or similar role.
  • Proven experience with ClickUp or similar project management tools.
  • Strong understanding of full-stack development with TypeScript.

Skills:

  • Excellent project management and organisational skills.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team, and resolve technical issues as they arise.
  • Exceptional English communication skills are required to interact effectively with the team and stakeholders.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Advanced degrees or project management certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile) are a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with additional project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
  • Experience with other engineering tools and technologies related to TypeScript development.
