Position description:

Responsibilities:

Key objectives of the position:

We are seeking a skilled data engineer to enhance our team.

Your role will involve employing diverse techniques to convert raw data into functional data systems.

To excel in this role, you should possess robust analytical abilities and the capability to integrate data from multiple sources.

If you are meticulous, well-organized, and have prior experience in data engineering, we encourage you to apply.

Traits we are looking for in you:

- Programming experience in Java/Scala.

- 2 to 3 years' experience in Spark.

- Experience in the Kafka, Hadoop ecosystem / AWS EMR.

- Experience in AWS Cloud Services is a plus.

- Integrating the end-to-end data pipeline to take data from source systems to target data repositories ensuring the quality and consistency of data is maintained at all times.

- Experience building BI/Data Warehousing solutions e.g. ETL Design/ Development, Report Design, Dashboard Design.

- Having sound knowledge of MySQL.

- Development experience in Spring/Spring Boot Application.

- High proficiency in SQL and No SQL database and Experience in Processing large amounts of structured and unstructured data into a form suitable for analysis.

- Deep knowledge in data mining and data lake.

- You must have hands-on coding capability in desired technologies.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Analyze and organize raw data

- Build data systems and pipelines

- Evaluate business needs and objectives

- Interpret trends and patterns

- Conduct complex data analysis and report on results

- Prepare data for prescriptive and predictive modeling

- Build algorithms and prototypes

- Explore ways to enhance data quality, reliability and availability

- Develop analytical tools and programs

- Collaborate with data scientists and architects on several projects

- Need to have the technical wisdom for experimentation, evaluation and implementation.
