SummaryWe are looking for a dynamic and experienced Corporate Relations & Placements Manager to develop and maintain strategic partnerships with corporates to create job opportunities for international university graduates.
The Corporate Relations & Placements Manager will also be responsible for engaging with university’s alumni to strengthen our network and enhance career development opportunities for students.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in securing internship and placement opportunities for our client university’s students while also developing and implementing training programs to enhance their employability skills. If you are passionate about empowering students and building links between academia and industry, we are keen to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
Corporate Relationship Management:Develop and implement a comprehensive corporate relations strategy to establish and maintain partnerships with corporates for graduate placements (corporate connect)Identify and engage with potential employers to create job opportunities for university graduates.Collaborate with academic departments to align graduate skills with industry requirements and facilitate placements.Organize networking events, industry talks, and career fairs to foster connections between students and potential employers.Placements:Identify and coordinate internship and job placement processes for students across various disciplines.Conduct workshops and facilitate training support to students in resume writing, interview preparation, and other career development activities.Networking:Build and maintain relationships with alumni to foster mentorship and networking opportunities for students and graduates.Participate in industry events to enhance the connect with Education fraternity.Represent the university at industry conferences, networking events, and career fairs to raise awareness and form new corporate partners.Data Management and Analysis:Maintain accurate records of student placements, including tracking outcomes and success metrics.Evaluate the effectiveness of existing programs and make recommendations for improvements.Analyze placement data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for partnership expansion.Present analysis reports for university administration and stakeholders on placement activities and outcomes.Marketing and Outreach:Promote placement services and opportunities to students through various channels, including social media, newsletters, and campus events.Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to promote graduate placement opportunities to students and employers.
ExperienceMinium 3-5 years in corporate relations, career services, corporate connect, Industry academia linkages, in the higher education sector, University Placements, Career development cell in universitiesExperience in conducting workshops, seminars, and training programs is essential.Strong network and connections with the corporate sector in India.Experience in managing alumni network
QualificationBachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's degree preferred.
SkillsProven track record of successfully developing and maintaining partnerships with corporates.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Strong networking and relationship-building skills.Experience in alumni relations and career services is a plus.Proficiency in MS Office suite and relevant software applications.Knowledge of industry trends, job market dynamics, and career development strategies.Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students, faculty, staff, and industry stakeholders.
