Job Description: HR Generalist

Position: HR Generalist

Location: Gurugram (Monday to Saturday working)

Reports to: TA Head

Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive HR Generalist to manage end-to-end HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and HR systems management. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in hiring, policy implementation, and HR software tools to support a growing workforce.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Staffing

Manage full-cycle recruitment: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating offers.

Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and talent needs.

Maintain candidate pipeline using ATS/HR software.

Onboarding & Employee Experience

Conduct smooth onboarding and induction programs for new hires.

Ensure completion of joining formalities, documentation, and HRIS updates.

Support employee engagement initiatives and grievance handling.

HR Operations & Compliance

Maintain accurate employee records in HR software/HRIS.

Assist in payroll inputs, leave, and attendance management.

Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and statutory requirements.

Performance & Learning Support

Support performance appraisal and goal-setting processes.

Coordinate training sessions and track employee development.

Candidate Profile

Qualifications

Bachelors/Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience

2–5 years of experience as HR Generalist/HR Executive.

Strong exposure to recruitment and onboarding processes.

Working knowledge of HR software/HRIS

Skills & Competencies

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Good understanding of HR policies, compliance, and best practices.

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain confidentiality.

Tech-savvy with MS Office and HR tools proficiency.

Summary

This role is best suited for a dynamic HR professional who can independently handle recruitment, onboarding, and day-to-day HR operations while leveraging HR software to streamline processes.
